At AC0, we are passionate about creating immersive worlds and unforgettable gaming experiences. For years, our detailed fantasy setting, Barsalyhs, has captivated players and Dungeon Masters alike. Originally designed as a rich universe for Dungeons & Dragons, Barsalyhs features 36 distinct nations across 8 continents and islands, six vast oceans, over 200 unique creatures, and 10 diverse playable races. It’s a world brimming with adventure, mystery, and endless possibilities.
Today, we are excited to share some thrilling news: while Barsalyhs was initially crafted as a setting for D&D, we are now embarking on an ambitious new journey. AC0 is in the process of designing an entirely new tabletop fantasy roleplaying game system—Barsalyhs—specifically built from the ground up to bring this incredible world to life in its own unique way.
Our goal with this new system is to capture the essence of Barsalyhs’ vastness and complexity, while offering fresh mechanics, innovative gameplay, and a seamless experience that stands on its own. To kick things off, the basic rules will be available for free download, allowing players and Dungeon Masters to start exploring the world of Barsalyhs right away.
